Senior Service College Graduate Placement Program (SSC GPP) Mobility Agreement

Execution of the following agreement is required as a condition of application and selection for SSC. Army senior leaders recognize the importance of developing civilians for leadership positions, and the premier educational experience for civilians is an SSC education. It is essential that the leadership skills and competencies of SSC graduates be fully utilized to maximize the Army's return on investment for the civilian workforce. To that end, the Vice Chief of Staff instituted a policy of directed placement of civilian SSC graduates in FY 2003. The policy memorandum is found at http://cpol.army.mil/library/train/tld-060503.html. Centrally managed post-training placement of civilian SSC graduates, through a process parallel to that which exists for military graduates, will enhance civilian leader development and increase Army's return on investment for Army civilian SSC graduates. This initiative will produce long-term benefits to SSC students, the Army, and the DoD.
